Elementary (1st-5th)

The first through fifth grade program provides project based learning, STREAM experiences, service projects, and many opportunities for extra-curricular enrichment. Students in lower elementary enjoy integrated fine arts, Spanish, and Technology. There is a focus on using concrete experiences to enhance concept development as well as many hands-on experiences that engage students in learning. Additionally, students are eligible to prepare for Private Schools Interscholastic Academic competition by working with coaches in an afterschool program. The Learning Garden and several field trips provide additional program enrichment.

Beginning in third grade, students may audition for the OLQP Select Choir. The choir prepares for performances throughout the year. The Select Choir enriches Masses at local churches, performs in the Lake Jackson Festival of Lights, and sings at the Texas State Capitol during Catholic Advocacy Day.

Beginning in fifth grade, students are eligible to participate in the OLQP sports programs: Co-Ed Soccer, Girls’ Volleyball, Girls’ Basketball, Boys’ Basketball, and Co-Ed Tennis. Students in fifth grade also go to Camp Kappe.
